Due to the multiple contacts we are now having around scenarios of children and staff members being in proximity of exposure to individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19, it is with an abundance of caution that St. Clare of Montefalco Catholic School will implement the
Virtual Platform for Instruction of Students beginning Monday, November 16, 2020. This is a precaution to best protect all members of our school community. Know at this time your children are all safe. No one has to be notified that they have been exposed to a positive person here in the school. We want to keep it that way. W
e will reassess the community situation December 7th but, until then, students will attend school in our Google Classroom/Zoom platforms.
The following is expected of the students:
School day will be from 8:00 to 3:20
All St. Clare of Montefalco students will participate daily with Prayer at 8:05, 11:30, and 3:15.
Uniforms will be worn.
Student Attendance: Must be present during every class
Virtual absences and tardies will be recorded.
Virtual Daily Lessons will be posted in Google Classroom each morning.
Plans will follow the Virtual Friday format.
Daily lessons should be under Classwork/Topic/Virtual Week.
Special Classes (Art, Physical Education, Spanish, Technology) will continue in real time just like being in school.
Assignments must be turned in daily.
Students in Preschool will follow format Ms. Sue and Ms. Nancy have provided. Kindergarten and Grade 1 students will follow the above guidelines with some modifications that will be shared with parents by their teachers. Devices will be ready for KG – GD 2 at the end of the day Monday. A schedule for the exchange of materials will be sent later this week.
Peace and safe health wished to you all, Ms. Crowley Principal/313 647 5129
