COVID-19 Case Notification

Dear St. Clare of Montefalco Families,

This is to alert you that our Grade 8 classroom is virtual for ten days due to a student in the room testing positive for COVID-19. Know that grades 6, 7, and 8 are in the same cohort group but the students do not cross into each other's classrooms. 

All other students are in different cohort groups so they do not use the same hallway or entry doors. Grades 3, 4, and 5 use the same big group lavatories but are monitored by their teachers in their use. All students in PK thru GD 2 have no contact with the older children.

The  Case Notification is a proper COVID-19 protocol step. Please review the  Screening Tool for Families. Please remind your children the importance of the following:
1.     Wearing their masks
2.     Not talking when eating as they are not wearing masks at this time
3.     Social distancing means not touching each other ever – they should be six feett away from each other always.

Everyone needs to remain diligent in following these protocols. We are not invincible to this virus. All of us must remain strong in staying the course with our safety measures.
