Mass/Travel/Registration/Class Size/Auction

Hello St. Clare of Montefalco Families,

This week and next St. Clare of Montefalco students will participate in Penitential Service with Father Andrew instead of Mass. During Holy Week the entire school will go to Mass on Wednesday, March 31 ^st. Social Distancing and COVID-19 protocols will be firmly enforced at this 2:00 Mass for just the students and St. Clare staff. Please contact  [email protected] if you have any questions.
 
COVID-19 Travel Safety
Remember families if you travel by plane or by car out of state, you will need to quarantine children upon return for 10 to 14 days. I am consulting with other AOD schools around their response to the addition of auto travel for quarantining. We want to keep everyone safe.  

Registration/Class Size
We have a healthy enrollment for the fall of 104 students with families still waiting for permission to register. We would like to reach 150 which would still make our average class size under 20 students per grade.  The Archdiocese of Detroit is basing its approval of school budgets on class sizes being at 25 next school year. Most of our classrooms are able to accommodate 6 foot distancing with 18 desks present. COVID safety remains primary. New CDC guidelines are requiring only 3 foot distance between children. At this time we will aim to keep class sizes at 20 or less.
