Travel Update
 
Families, I did touch base with the Archdiocese of Detroit today because I was applying the gold standard for travel. It is highlighted in yellow. Many of our children have families members who are at high risk for severe illness. The February 21 ^stTravel Letter had Option  2 stating 10 days. Due to the new variants of the virus, if you travel at break by plane, we may ask your children to quarantine for 14 days upon return. Currently, 10 days returning the 11 ^th day without a test if student does not have symptoms remains in effect.

• Get tested with a viral test 3-5 days after travel AND stay home and self-quarantine for a full 7 days after travel.
• Even if you test negative, stay home and self-quarantine for the full 7 days.
• If your test is positive, isolate yourself to protect others from getting infected.
• If you don’t get tested, stay home and self-quarantine for 10 days after travel.
• Avoid being around people who are at increased risk for severe illness for 14 days, whether you get tested or not.
