Student COVID-19 Case

Dear St. Clare of Montefalco Families,

Your child brought a note home to you alerting you that a student in the school tested positive for COVID-19 today. That student took a rapid test and technically the Wayne County Health Department said that only that student would need to stay home until results from a delayed PCR test returned positive. Remember we are going with an abundance of caution when making decisions to keep our students safe. I am following that.

I closed the affected area and those children will not return to school for 2weeks. The few siblings of any children in this cohort group are also quarantining. It is a very small group.

Students not in the cohort group of the child were not exposed to the child. 

Thank you for all of your support as we move through these extraordinary times. If anything else changes I will let you know.
