Thank you to everyone who helped make our Catholic Schools Week a success. This is one of my favorite weeks of the year. Besides highlighting Catholic Schools, it gives our students a chance to step out of the ordinary and to continue to grow.
With our growth in academics several students were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society last Tuesday night. There are strict academic requirements to be in this group. Congratulations to our newest members: Frank Blackman, Taveon Colson, Jaden Graham, Carys Rees-Baker, Jamison Townsend and Arym Ward. In addition to the induction the current NJHS members were taken to a special Catholic Schools Week Mass celebrated by Bishop Cepeda at the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament. For many students, it was their first time at the cathedral and seeing a bishop celebrate the Mass.
