Dear St. Clare of Montefalco Families,

 

Happy Winter Break!  We enjoyed Auction Winner Principal of the Day Nadia Richardson leading our school today.  Extra recess and no homework today, Free Ice Cream next Friday, and Free Dress Day next Thursday were all granted by Principal Richardson. Ms. Crowley was Principal Richardson’s Student Assistant for the day. Principal Richardson’s announcements and leadership were outstanding. 

 

We are receiving great interest in enrollment for our school for the upcoming fall.  Families, please remember to fill out your Letters of Intent to Return and submit to the office asap.  You may also want to consider completing your Registration Form to assure a seat for your child at

St. Clare for the fall. There are advantages to registering early.  Families who register on or before March 31^st are discounted $100 and only need to pay a $200 Registration Fee.  When we know the number of students returning, it allows us to adequately prepare for the upcoming year.  We can hire staff early and set classroom configurations.

 

St. Clare of Montefalco School is pleased to have the Michigan Round Table working with us as we define ourselves as a diverse, inclusive learning community.  The teachers met with Freda Sampson and Reanne Young in January.  February 27^th parents are being invited to meet with Ms. Sampson and Ms. Young.  The same presentation along with questions and expectations by parents will be shared February 27^th.  Only families are allowed to attend.  Please sign up in the office so that the presenters know how many adults to prepare for that evening.  It was suggested that a Simple Supper would happen at 5:30 that Thursday evening. The presentation will be from 6:00 to 8:00.  Your voices are needed.  The presenters will then guide staff and families through a joint diversity and inclusion session in March.

2. Thursday, February 13 – Last day before Winter Break
3. Friday, February 14 thru February 18 – Winter Break – No School
4. Wednesday, February 19, 2020 – School Resumes and All School Mass at 8:15
5. Thursday, February 20 -- Principal Richardson Free Dress Day for all students
6. Friday, February 21 – Summer Reading Jeans Day & /Free Ice Cream Day
