Dear St. Clare of Montefalco Families,

We are growing. This week we reached 100 students enrolled in our beautiful school. Some of our classrooms only have room for one more student. Please, this is a call out for families to encourage growth in our kindergarten class. We are looking for 7 more students. A tuition incentive exists for families who find children who register for kindergarten.

Teachers are ready with Supply Lists for you to begin collecting items your children will need for the upcoming school year. Click here for the list.

We are looking for a few adult volunteers. We plan on having a dumpster at the school August 2nd thru August 6th. We are going to empty a few rooms in the Sweeney Center of materials as well as remove some dated items from the Main School. Social Distancing with masks we could use your help. Please call Ann Crowley at 647 -5129 if you are able to volunteer.

The Athletic Director, Bob Conway, has announced that fall sports for CYO are a go. Practice for Girls Volleyball begins in Gym Camp August 10th. Boys and Girls Soccer will be outside. Practice for soccer begins August 17th at 7:00 PM. Even though other schools are allowing basketball, Director Conway says he will continue to not allow it as he does not have clear guidance from CYO or the MHSAA on this matter.

The plan at St. Clare of Montefalco School remains as I presented last week. Orientation begins the week of August 24th with the First Day of School being a half day on August 31st. Please see prior Newsletter with those details.

1. Wednesday Classroom Zoom Meet Ups: Wednesday, July 29, 2020.
2. Girls Volleyball Begins: Monday, August 10 ^th at 7 PM
3. Boys and Girls Soccer Begins: Monday, August 17 ^th
4. “The Lion King, Jr”: Monday, August 20th will be available for streaming. More information to follow in upcoming Newsletters.
5. Orientation Week: Begins Monday, August 24.
6. First Day of School: Monday August 31st with 12:00 Dismissal
