Dear St. Clare of Montefalco Families,
 
This has been a beautiful week. Our half day schedule ran smoothly this week thanks to everyone doing their part in making our school safe. Please know that we expect everyone, including parents in the parking lot, to wear masks. This models safe practices that will allow our school to continue face to face four days a week. 
 
Your children will be bringing home information in hard copy today. You will have a September calendar for your refrigerators which will be on the backside of this week’s newsletter. You will have a copy of the COVID-19 Screening Tool for Families. Use that tool every day before bringing your child to school. We are all in this together and we are determined to keep everyone healthy. Lunch forms are due back on Tuesday. The menu is on the back of the form. Pizza will only be on Wednesdays since we are having Virtual Fridays.
 
Parents be aware that Friday, September 11^th is the full Virtual Day for KG thru GD 8. We are trouble-shooting that day to discover any needs our school families may have around participating in this full day experience. The week of September 14 ^th we will have a parent zoom meeting for those of you who need questions answered around your experience with your child on this first Virtual Day. Hang in there. We know this is still fairly new. We will become experts. That is our goal. 
 
*Remember Tuesday, September 8^th is a half day of school.

1.    Labor Day Weekend Break: Friday through Monday September 4-7
2.    Return from Labor Day Break Half Day: Tuesday, September 8, 2020 (12:00 Dismissal)
3.    Full Time Distance Learning Mandatory Parent Meeting: Tuesday, September 8 at 1:00
4.    Preschool Half Days: Tuesday, September 8 ^th – September 11. (8:20 to 11:20)
5.    Full Day of School: Wednesday and Thursday, September 9 ^th and 10 ^th. (3:30 Dismissal)
6.    Summer Reading Book List Due: Thursday, September 10, 2020
7.    Friday Virtual Practice Day: Friday September 11, 2020. All KG thru GD 8 students attend school virtually. KG will have a packet. PK 3 and PK 4 have regular school day.
8 .    Latch Key and Full Day Pre School thru GD 8: Begins September 14, 2020
