Weekly Newsletter

Dear St. Clare of Montefalco Families,
 
This week we had all of our children in the school from PK thru GD 8. Next week we fold in our final program, that being Latchkey. It is all of us being super cautious that will keep our school open and safe. The focus of this newsletter is knowing when to keep your child home so that our young people will be able to continue to come to school daily.
 
Please, if your child exhibits any allergy, cold or flu symptoms keep them home. COVID-19 mimics all those symptoms. Call the office and report the illness. Keep your child home until they are no longer exhibiting any symptoms. It is extreme. It is because we all agreed that we want our children in school that we are calling for this. Everyone has to step up to keep everyone safe.
 
Take note that  if your child or anyone in your household goes in for a COVID-19 test you must inform Ms. Crowley immediately. My office phone number is  313 647 5129. I can access my office phone from home. I will check it routinely for messages.
 
Important Dates
 
1.    Friday Virtual Practice Day: Friday September 11, 2020. All KG thru GD 8 students attend school virtually. KG will have a packet. PK 3 and PK 4 have regular school day.
2.    STAR Testing – Continues for KG-GD5. See earlier eblast.
3.    Latch Key and Full Day Pre School thru GD 8: Begins September 14, 2020
4.    Grosse Pointe Library Card Forms – sent home Monday, September 14 , 2020
5.    Grosse Pointe Library Cards Forms due – Tuesday, September 15, 2020
6.    Virtual Friday Grade 1 thru Grade 8 – Friday, September 18, 2020 (PK and KG report to school)
