Dear St. Clare of Montefalco Families,

Our first ever Zoom Parent-Teacher Meet up Wednesday evening touched my heart. I am in awe of the flexibility everyone is applying in transitioning into this bright new world. A parent shared that phrase with me Tuesday morning and it certainly does apply to St. Clare of Montefalco School. 

Thank you everyone for calling the school and keeping your children home when they even seem just a little under the weather. We continue to be a safe environment because of everyone’s diligence. I have allowed children back into school when only one symptom presents itself and they have quarantined for a few days. Allergies are part of life. I am being as diligent as possible too.

Important Dates and Information

1.    Virtual Friday in Uniforms Sept 18:  GD 1 thru GD 8 students attend school virtually 8:00 to 3:30. PK and KG are at school.
2.    Monday, Sept 21: Picture Day – PK thru GD 8. Students may dress up. Payment in envelopes or online needed.
3.    Thursday, September 24 –Summer Reading Celebration in the afternoon. Teachers will have list of names for Dress Down Days. This will be first day earned for Dressing Down.
4.    Latch Key forms must be filled out by Thursday, September 24 ^th. Latchkey time must be prearranged. If you are scheduled for a certain day and time, even if not present you will need to pay for Latch Key if notification to Ms. Stanley is not timely (night before or during the school day).
5.    Directory Forms – Will be sent home on Monday, Sept 21. They must be returned Tuesday to have your information in the School Directory.
6.    Parking Lot Arrival and Departure: Please drive slowly for obvious reasons. Children must stay in cars to have temperatures taken. Enter the Parking lot off of Mack. Stop at sidewalk midway to see if children are trying to cross it.  A Yield Sign is being sought for that crossing area.
7.    Hot Lunch Order Forms – October forms will be coming home at the end of September. Follow the directions on the form. You can sign your child up just for pizza if that is your wish. 
8.    Power School Access – Ms. Conlan is working on getting all new parents access in Power School. This will allow for ability to check child’s progress in work assignments.
9.    NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2020. TEACHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT DAY.
