There is NO SCHOOL FOR ALL STUDENTS MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2020.
We had an exciting Wednesday as it was discovered that the September 28
th issue of People Magazine has over a page photo of our kindergarten class attending their first orientation. Photos of the issue can be found on our FB page. So cool. I would also be remiss not to mention the fun our students had today trying to dunk the principal. Those who met their Summer Reading goals had 3 chances each to drop Ms. Crowley.
Trouble-shooting and receiving feedback on how things were working for Virtual Fridays, we have made the following adjustments to make participation much more user friendly. Teachers will no longer use Google Meet but will use a Zoom link that will be posted in Google Classroom. We returned to IXL and cancelled our contract with Freckle. IXL is much easier to navigate. We hope these changes help everyone. We are also reviewing the survey put out by Ms. Cooley around need for devices as we wait for our One to One Chrome books to arrive.
Next week we will send home the October calendar and the most updated School Year Calendar. The school is also trying to provide a fishing trip experience to Windmill Pointe Park for Grade 3 through Grade 8 on October 8
th. More information will come about that experience next week.
