Dear St. Clare of Montefalco Families,

Thank you so, so much for making our new Morning Drop Off a success. We are working out the kinks. It would help if you have your windows open before pulling into line as that will help prevent students from testing hot. Remember that if you park, your children need to wait in the car with you until the first bell rings so they are not crossing in front of moving vehicles. 

Our first quarter report cards and STAR results were sent home Wednesday. Teachers will review both with you at conferences on Friday. Please be sure to sign the Report Card Envelope and initial the Star Parent Letter. Have your child return both to school.

The new Chromebooks are making Virtual Fridays easier to navigate. St. Clare of Montefalco School is nimble enough to go virtual smoothly if need be. Our goal is to remain face to face as long as we know we are safe. Seeing the uptick in COVID-19 cases around us, I have asked teachers to send materials home with their students this weekend to be ready to make adjustments if needed Monday. Odds are your children will need to bring back their materials next week, but we want to be prepared.

It is with great enthusiasm that I announce the awarding of $10,000 by the Catholic Foundation of Michigan for the St. Clare of Montefalco School Unity in Diversity project. More news will be forthcoming around your participation in this project.

National Junior Honor Society promoted their service project raising funds and baby items for Pregnancy Aid. Over $100 was raised and many new baby items were donated. Please  click here to read the letter written by NJHS members. NJHS also recruited others to help weed the playground after school a few times. Accolades go out for the leadership this team is displaying.
