I am reaching out to all of you as tardiness and drop off safety are of major concern. Your children need to be in their classrooms at 8:00, not arriving at 8:00. All children should be dropped off by 7:55 using the Drop Off line. The drop off procedures allowed all children to be on time last school year. Every four cars or so may drop children off. You do not need to wait for me to open your car doors though I do love seeing all of you. We are having the line back up now as it seems new families are parking and having children cross in front of cars trying to leave. Please get to school between 7:45 and 7:55.
The back of this newsletter has a Turkey Trot Volunteer Form on it. Please fill it out if you would even want to just be a person cheering on the sidewalk for the children. That will allow you to attend the event. You need to sign the volunteer form and have your child return it for Mrs. Irvin-Stanley to know how many adults will be present. Turkey Trot November 12th Fun Run Link. (We are at $11,400 as of this morning.)

Our part-time counselor, Ms. Carly Cenit introduced herself to your children this week. She shared an introduction letter with them that you should read. A consent form needs to be signed for Ms. Carly to be able to meet with your child in their classroom, in a small group, or even individually. We are grateful for her presence to help students adjust to living through this pandemic.
Families, we are trying to bridge our relationship with the parishioners in our church. Our children attend Mass every week and one class leads the mass. We would like the class that leads the mass to attend church the following Sunday together. This week Grade 6 will represent our school at 9:00 Mass. I will be present and encourage other families to join us.
Report cards are coming next Thursday. Next week’s newsletter will have the link to sign up for our in-person conferences.
