Greetings St. Clare of Montefalco families,

School Safety/Chromebook Use
Due to the changing conditions around school safety in our community, we are adding  this addendum to our Crisis Safety Plan Handbook. It is in place until the Archdiocese of Detroit reviews and makes any changes to it.

Chrome books/devices will be allowed to be used at home after school beginning Tuesday. They should only be used for school assignments. School administration will be flagged and sent any emails that have profanity or threats of violence contained in them. This will allow for immediate suspension of use of the student’s Google account sending out the inappropriate content.

COVID Update
Wayne County has gone to 5 days isolation from first day of COVID-19 symptoms if person is known to be positive. A student/staff member may return to school on the 6th day if they have no illness symptoms on day five after symptoms present themselves.

School Spirit Wear Orders

2022/2023 Registration/AOD School Tuition Assistance
Registration for returning families begins February 1, 2022. The registration fee is reduced to $200 if you register on or before March 31. New families will begin registering on February 14, 2022.

The Archdiocese of Detroit Tuition Assistance Application will become available for the 2022/2023 school year on January 22, 2022. First Round Applications are due by April 30th.

Volunteer Hours
PTO will be sending out the number of volunteer hours your family has completed. Remember $250 is added to tuition if volunteer hours are not completed.

Auction

The Bistro Bundle Raffle is back! Students are asked to sell tickets to support the auction. Tickets are $20 each, for a chance to win $500 in premium restaurant gift cards (including Cadieux Cafe, The Bronze Door, Cork & Gabel, Ottava Via, The Bricks, and more)! For every FIVE tickets sold by a school family, this is the equivalent to ONE volunteer hour. Ticket packets will be available to take at school pick-up on Wednesday, January 19th and Thursday, January 20th. 6. Monday, January 24th thru Friday, January 28th - Middle of the Year STAR Testing
7. Tuesday, January 25th – Report Cards go home
8. Wednesday, January 26th - Virtual Parent Conferences 4:30 to 6:00
9. Sunday, January 30th to Saturday, February 5th - Catholic Schools Week (Service Activities, School Spirit Activities, Jump Rope for Heart)
10. Saturday, February 19th – St. Clare of Montefalco School Annual Auction
