Happy St. Patrick’s Day St. Clare of Montefalco families,
We had a fun day as many students dressed in green and participated in St. Patrick’s Day activities. National Junior Honor Society sponsored the Free Dress Day raising money for the people of Ukraine on this day too. NJHS had a busy week. After mass on Wednesday, NJHS inducted two new members, Taneya Louis and Gustavo Leyva. They were brought into the organization because their character, leadership, faith, scholarship, and citizenship are outstanding. Congratulations!
COVID Masking Families please be aware that if a classroom has a large number of absences or children exhibiting cold symptoms, the teacher may ask the children to mask while in the classroom. They will not have to mask outside.
Drop Off Please use the Drop Off entrance even if you are running late. Students should not be cutting through the parking lot as cars are arriving for Mass at the other entrances. Thank you everyone for keeping all the children safe.
Parent Volunteers A shout out needs to be given to Mr. Bruce Wilson, parent of Braylin (7th grade) and Bryce (3rd grade). Mr. Wilson helps put the ropes back up in the parking lot most mornings after he noticed Ms. Stanley doing the work every morning. Thank you, Mr. Wilson! We are also still looking for lunch/recess volunteers who are available Monday-Friday from 11:30-12:30. Please email Ms. Cooley or Ms. Crowley if you are interested.
St. Clare Track and Field St. Clare Track & Field begins THIS Monday, March 21st. Track & Field is open to ALL 3rd-8th grade school children. Practices will be held from 5:00-6:30 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and will meet in the gym. The season will have three meets and conclude by mid-May with the CYO Championships for varsity runners. The cost is $100. Our goal is never to turn a child away from participating in a sport. We are by far the lowest fee charged in the CYO. If you have any questions, please contact Athletics at [email protected]. Please fill out this short online survey so coaches have your emails to communicate: https://forms.gle/qVohMYJJdSzsZKGa7
