I am excited to introduce a new leadership team to the St. Clare of Montefalco Catholic School Community.  We are introducing a new leadership framework to our school that ensures the needs of our teachers, students and families are met while at the same time we work to strengthen and grow our beloved school.

I am pleased to welcome Ms. Ann Crowley as the new Principal.  Though new to this position at our school, Ms. Crowley is no stranger to St Clare.  Her three grown children attended our school while growing up right here in the neighborhood, and she was an active parent volunteer.  Ms. Crowley is a passionate leader who is dedicated to the learning and growth of children with a special passion for bringing together children of multiple cultures and backgrounds.  She has led a life of service in Detroit and shared her expertise in the Sudan and Abu Dhabi. 

Ms. Crowley is eager to come back to the school that has served her family so well.  We believe she will not only be a strong leader but a great example of a life of leadership and service to our students as we strive to C reate Leaders in Life.

To assist and support Ms. Crowley in her multiple duties as principal we are pleased to welcome back Ms. Samantha Cooley.  Many of you may remember Ms. Cooley as a 2 ^nd grade or 3 ^rd/4 ^th grade teacher at St. Clare.  Ms. Cooley was recently called to grow her expertise and knowledge and seek a Ed. S in Leadership degree from Oakland University.  Ms. Cooley will serve as Assistant Principal to Ms. Crowley and assist in the multitude of duties required of a small school principal such as academic leadership, discipline, administration, development, enrollment, and fundraising to name a few.  Ms. Cooley will also teach some of the core curriculum classes for our lower elementary students.  Ms. Cooley was thrilled about the opportunity to come back to the St. Clare family and is excited to embark on a new role at our school.

Please join us in welcoming Ms. Crowley and Ms. Cooley.  They will attend the August 25 ^th Back to School Picnic at 2:00pm and are looking forward to meeting our students and families.

We are blessed to have Ms. Crowley and Ms. Cooley join our community and looking forward to a great school year.
