Dear St. Clare of Montefalco Families,
 
We welcome the new PTO President, Jody Corbett, and all of the other PTO officers. We are in the process of confirming contracts and classroom configurations for the Fall. Tentatively this is what the school will look like for grade levels and teachers.

The Archdiocese of Detroit plans on sharing Stage 4 Face to Face School Schedules with principals next week to review. Currently the plan at St. Clare of Montefalco School is to open with a 5 day a week in school instruction program happening. We will be nimble enough to go to Distance Learning if need be. Our projected Orientation Week staggered start dates will begin
August 24 ^th. During Orientation Week parents will come with their children and spend a half day with their new teacher. That meet up may occur outside the school building for safety reasons.  Only one class at a time will come to the school. Laptops, processes, and procedures will be gone over with the parents and the children.   August 31^st may be the first full day of school with a four day school week. Remember, this is all tentative. As the summer progresses you will receive continuous updates.
 
These are some givens you should know. Class size will be limited to 15 students per classroom. We are thinking of locking registration on September 8 ^th  for safety reasons.  Classrooms will become safe spaces for the children and teacher who occupy those rooms.

1.    AOD Tuition Assistance 2^nd Round Window: Due July 15  https://www.detroitcatholicschools.org/tuition-assistance-scholarships
2.    New KG Registration Tuition Incentive – Remember if you bring a KG student to our school you will receive $200 toward your child’s tuition.
3.    Wednesday Zoom Meet Ups: Wednesday, July 15, 2020.
4.    “The Lion King, Jr” filming is completed. They are now in the editing process. We look forward to its release.
