The Newsletter is coming to you one day early to answer questions you may have around Halloween as well as update you around the calendar. Tomorrow students may wear their costumes to school for the entire day. Teachers went over what is appropriate to wear at our Catholic, Christian school. Briefly, no blood or gore, no weapons of any sort, no costumes which degrade any children of God, costumes must be decent in covering of body respectfully. Masks may be brought to school. They may be worn during small celebration in self contained classrooms. Teachers will share zoom time with Distance Learning families as to when their celebrations will occur.
We may have a COVID safe parade for only the children present. This follows the premise of not allowing parents in our facilities. If we do have a short parade it will be for the young people in the school, who stay in their cohort safe areas, the opportunity to share and see costumes of the young people in the school. It will not be a huge gathering. I wish things were different.
We are pleased to announce our one to one Chrome Books are to be delivered this Friday.
Families with students in grades three through eight are receiving a Chrome Book Responsible Use form along with this Newsletter today. Please return Thursday so that your child will be able to receive their Chrome Book early next week.
Here is a gentle reminder that there is no school for anyone this Friday. Please enjoy this long weekend with your families. Thank you everyone for being so diligent in keeping our school safe for face to face instruction.
