Dear St. Clare of Montefalco Families,

Thank you families for stepping up to this pandemic challenge we are facing. St. Clare of Montefalco Catholic School is making adjustments as you share feedback on how your children are doing. We are trying to make comfort levels exist with the synchronous and asynchronous lessons the young people participate in each day. Your children are to be commended for being present and on time for their classes. The school has actually been contacted this week by two families who wish to enroll even though we are currently virtually teaching. The goal is to provide safety first.  We will revisit our status for returning December 7 ^th . Know that other Catholic schools around us are closing for at least two weeks now too.

Students will be pleased to hear that a Free Dress Day will be given on Monday to those who submit Christmas Card Cover entries on Friday, November 20, 2020. We are extending the contest one day to allow for more entrants to demonstrate their artistic talent. Photos of their cards with their names on them must be sent to their teachers Friday. The card covers need to be brought to school Monday during the materials exchange. Father Andrew will select the winning cover for the card which will be mailed out to over 800 families. 

Monday, November 23 rd, there will be a Materials Exchange between the teachers and students. Families are to come up between 11:30 and 1:00 and use our new morning drop off process to leave and collect materials. Instead of using the middle pull through lane, you will use the lane closest to the Sweeney Center building, the third lane. You will see. The cones will just be over one lane. Staff will  collect any materials your children need to give to the teachers (like the Christmas Card entries and various assignments they completed) and will give you  packets for all your children when you pull up. 

Really, families, you are the best. I know I say it all the time, but even that does not seem like enough. We are a blessed community and it is because of all of you.

2. Christmas Card Cover Contest – November 20, 2020 last day to submit
3. Christmas Card Cover Participants Free Dress Day – Monday, November 23, 2020
4. School/Home Materials Exchange – Monday, November 23 from 11:30 to 1:00
5. Yearbook Cover Contest – November 23, 2020 last day to submit
6. Christmas Live Wreath/Poinsettia – November 24 available for pick up
