Weekly Newsletter

Dear St. Clare of Montefalco Families,

Please enjoy your Thanksgiving Break spending time with your families.  Take that extra moment to share with each other on Thursday what you are all thankful for currently. 

We have been so blessed even these past few days since the last Newsletter came out on Thursday.  Families successfully participated in our Monday Materials Exchange Day.  We will have the same event next Monday for Teachers who indicate to families they need to come to school to leave or gather materials.  Two different times are now available for that exchange.  Families may come at between 7:30 and 8:30 in the morning or from 11:30 to 1:00 later in the day.  Once again, teachers should make you aware that you need to participate.

We are aware that many families are traveling this Thanksgiving season.  Please be safe and return with enough time to quarantine for possible return for face to face instruction in December.  Thursday, December 3^rd, a decision will be made as to returning for Face to Face instruction.  That decision will be in next week’s Newsletter. 

Spirit Wear is on sale now until December 3^rd.  Here is the link for ordering eagraphics.com/stclareapparel  Orders will be at school on December 21^st.

The Spirit of Advent is among us.  The church and school will celebrate together by parishioners placing ornaments they donate on the church trees. School families will place ornaments they donate on the school trees outside the office entrance. Perhaps we could get some Christmas lights up too. This will begin on Tuesday, December 8^th as it is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Ornaments need to be able to tolerate the weather conditions. We would love some homemade ones if they are sturdy enough.

3. School/Home Materials Exchange – Monday, November 30 (7:30 to 8:30 AM 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM)
4. Spirit Wear Sale Ends – Thursday, December 3, 2020
5. Face to Face School Decision – Thursday, December 3, 2020
6. No School Students – Monday, December 7, 2020;  Teacher Professional Development Day
7. Progress Notes for Second Quarter – Tuesday, December 8, 2020
8. Christmas Ornament Donations – Tuesday, December 8^th for trees outside school entrance.
