Dear St. Clare of Montefalco Families,

This weather has created an upbeat mood in our school community. The promise of Spring is upon us. Parents thank you for sending your children with proper jackets to wear. They are not allowed to be without jackets under sixty degrees during recess.

Grade 5 Cookbook
Ms. Willens shared, “It is my pleasure to share with you a Technology project that our 5th grade students here at St. Clare of Montefalco Catholic School recently finished..... drumroll please!......
This class created a cookbook using their favorite recipes. Some found their recipes online while others discussed them with their families and recorded the ingredients/directions on their recipe 'card.'

Travel Revision Mandates Families traveling need to know  if you leave the State of Michigan your children will need to quarantine for 10 to 14 days upon return whether you travel by plane or car.  This is due to the new variants and strains of COVID being found outside Michigan that are coming from Europe and South Africa.

1.       Prospective Parent Tours – Saturday March 13 ^th at 10:00 and 11:00 (sign up needed)
2.      Daylight Savings Sunday – Sunday, March 14 ^th Move clock forward an hour (1:00 becomes 2:00)
3.      Auction Zoom Meeting – Tuesday, March 16 ^th at 7 PM (link to be sent)
4.      Children’s Mass GD 5-8 Live – Wednesday, March 17 ^th at 2:00 (GD 1-4 livestream) St. Patrick’s Day
5.      Reading Free Dress Day – Thursday, March 18 ^th
6.      Stations of the Cross – Friday, March 19 ^th at 12:30
7.      Spring Open House – Thursday, April 22 at 6:30
8.      Tuition Assistance Application 2021/2022 -- https://www.detroitcatholicschools.org/tuition-assistance-scholarships April 30, 2021 is the deadline for first round applications. This application is also used by the school to grant tuition assistance for those seeking it (Catholic and non-Catholic).
