I am pleased to announce that the Archdiocese of Detroit released the
Back to School Plan for the 2021/2022 school year. Please take the time to open this document as it will also be the Back to School Plan for St. Clare of Montefalco Catholic Elementary School. At this point in time, mask wearing is not being mandated but is being encouraged for those who are not vaccinated. That is where we are at with the children and teachers at St. Clare of Montefalco. Constant reevaluation will be happening as the weeks move forward. Conditions in the community will affect decision making around mask wearing.
Currently we are trying to get all the families in FACTS. We will no longer operate in PowerSchool or have SMS messages sent directly from the school. Communication will happen almost entirely through FACTS. Ms. Conlan, Ms. Cooley, and I have been reaching out to the families who have not fully registered in that system yet. It is crucial every family completes that process to stay connected with the school.
