Greetings St. Clare of Montefalco families,
 
We welcomed Mrs. Jackie Martin as the full time teacher in Grade Two today. Hugs and thanks go out to Mrs. Reid and Ms. Taylor who taught the class first quarter. They will remain part of our school community in a variety of capacities though no longer on a daily basis.  
 
Tardy Bell at 8:00/Drop Off Procedures
Families, the last few weeks we have had more than a few children arriving to school tardy. It is important to know that students are tardy if they are not in the school by 8:00 AM. I stay outside while cars are going through the Drop Off line. Many cars are arriving after 8:00. Please know seven tardies add up to a one-day absence. I need to thank all of you for staying with our Drop Off line procedures as it prevents children from dodging in front of moving cars. Also, due to COVID-19 protocols, the Drop Off line prevents parent interaction with any of the children prior to entering the school which is off limits to all adults beyond staff during the day.
 
Halloween Parades
The weather prediction is 100% for rain on Friday. The Halloween parades will no longer happen for PK children at Drop Off. It will not happen at 1:00 for the older students. We will watch for any window of opportunity to possibly have parades but parents, they will only be for the children now.
 
Haunted Garage
Marc Grassi confirmed from the Haunted Garage’s Facebook page that it will be open this Friday and Saturday. Hours are 6pm-9:30. It will not be open for Halloween night. Tickets are good for either night. Tickets are still available to be purchased online or at the Haunted Garage. The link to buy online is below:

Trunk or Treat/School Mass
The Knights of Columbus are hosting their annual Trunk or Treat from 2:30 to 4:00 this Saturday. Children dress in costumes and collect treats in our parking lot. Father Andrew would like the children in their costumes to attend 4:00 mass following Trunk or Treat. What a great way to celebrate together with the parish by attending this special mass together? I will be at that 4:00 Mass and hope to see many families there.
