PK 3 and PK 4 Orientation Cancelled for Friday
New Day, Date, and Time
Tuesday, September 1^st
From  1:00 to 2:30

This has been one of the best weeks at our school since March 12, 2020. The beautiful presence of our students along with their parents made the school feel alive once again.  Every single KG through GD 8 family had representation at our meetings except for one family who made us aware they would be on vacation. Outstanding. This is our St. Clare of Montefalco School community. You make this school what it is and that is why we are able to open with face to face instruction this year.

We are all adjusting to mask wearing. The first set of half days will help us move through all the new expectations for safety without overwhelming everyone.

Please sign the Virtual Friday Opt In Form indicating your child will remain at home with you on Fridays. Our young people need that online independence the majority of other students are receiving in our region. Teachers will guide them through the day at home on Fridays. Your children participating in four full face to face days with masks and many regulations will need that Friday to decompress and relate to their teacher and classmates without masks.

Please have your child bring the Parent Packet to school on Monday so we have the permissions needed to implement all of our programs. Make sure you are in FACTS for your tuition payments.  See you in the parking lot Monday. 
 
Important Dates
1.    First Day for KG – GD 8: Monday, August 31 ^: 7:55 Arrival and 12:00 Dismissal
2.    Half Days KG - GD8: Tuesday – Thursday, September 1-3 (7:55 Arrival and 12:00 Dismissal.)
3.    Tuesday, September 1: PK3 and PK4 Orientation together at 1:00
4.    Friday, September 4^th OFF
5.    Labor Day Weekend Break: Friday through Monday September 4-7
6.    Return from Labor Day Break  Half Day: Tuesday, September 8, 2020 (12:00 Dismissal)
7.    Preschool Half Days: Tuesday, September 8 ^th – September 11. (8:20 to 11:20)
8.    Full Day of School: Wednesday and Thursday, September 9 ^th and 10 ^th. (3:30 Dismissal)
9.    Friday Virtual Practice Day: Friday September 11, 2020. All KG thru GD 8 students attend school virtually. KG will have a packet. PK 3 and PK 4 have regular school day.
10. Latchkey and Full Day Preschool  thru GD 8: Begins September 14, 2020
