As the principal of St. Clare of Montefalco during the 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic I need to share that many St. Clare families are dealing with sickness and loss. For privacy reasons and to limit the spread of fear and gossip, requests for prayer have been and will continue to be shared at the Wednesday Live Children’s Weekly Mass at 9:00. If you are unable to view the mass you may always watch the recording of it later and pray for those who seek prayers. Please open this post to view the entire newsletter.
It is with hearts full of peace and understanding of the current situation as well as concern for the safety of our parents, volunteers, parishioners, school students, school staff, and our wonderful ANNUAL BOOK SALE supporters that we, the St. Clare of Montefalco PTO, have decided to cancel our Annual Used Book Sale for the 2020-2021 school year. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM DROPPING BOOKS OFF AT THE SCHOOL OR PARISH AS THIS INCREASES RISK FOR OUR SCHOOL AND PARISH STAFF. WE ARE NOT COLLECTING BOOKS AT THIS TIME. The Book Sale is a major fundraiser for our school. Therefore, we are exploring fun ideas to replace the finances lost and will keep you informed of this progress. Please watch for future announcements! If you have fundraising suggestions, please contact Sue Pongratz, PTO President, at [email protected]. The Annual St Clare PTO School Auction has been postponed. We are exploring a Fall date for the event. Look for an upcoming rescheduling announcement and we appreciate your support of our wonderful school! Questions? Contact [email protected].
I hope this finds you doing well. Families, students and staff you are all incredible folks. Your love and faith radiate through all this uncertainty. Your embracing of each other and reaching out in support with prayer and resources to assist those in our community who are ill or grieving the loss of loved ones demonstrates God’s love that keeps you all family. I hope this letter finds you well. As we enter the spring season, I am writing to update you on our remote learning plans for the rest of the year. First, I would like to express my gratitude for all our students, parents, teachers, and staff for their flexibility in the face of this unprecedented situation. Our community stepped up to the challenge for the benefit of all our students. Thank you. Please open the post to view the entire letter.
During this revolutionary time on the educational front, our St. Clare of Montefalco School has been humming along barely missing a beat. That is due to the excellent educators, committed families and supportive parish community that embrace our children and put them first every day. Please open this post to view the entire newsletter.

I hope this finds you doing well. This is a brief update to let you know that the staff and I have been thinking of all of you this weekend. I am reminding you that you, your families health, faith, and spirituality take precedence over academics as we move through the stages of this pandemic. These are my points for today.
I so hope this finds you all doing well. Thank you everyone for supporting our young people as they participated in Spirit Week while engaged in Distance Learning. The photos you shared were enjoyed by many who follow the St. Clare of Montefalco School FB page. Those of you who were able to view my video this morning please bear along with me as I become comfortable making these videos. I wanted to make sure I recited prayers correctly as they are different versions from the prayers I grew up with attending St. Ambrose. Also I wanted to make sure I did not make a mistake in the School Mission Statement. Click to view the rest of the newsletter.
