I am sending this on June 30th so that families who need to complete their Tuition Assistance requests from the AOD have one last notification to do so. Today is the last day to submit your requests. Please open this post to view the complete newsletter.
This weather has been incredibly helpful in being comfortable in the school as we wrap up this year and prepare for next year. When finalizing records, we found that another student, Franca Grassi, had Perfect Attendance for the 2020/2021 school year. Kudos extended to Franca too. During the summer, the school office will be open Tuesday-Thursday from 9 am to 1 pm. All calls received outside of those hours will be returned the following business day.
I hope this finds you all doing well and enjoying your summers as families together. We continue to keep the school in motion as we close out this past school year. Completing report cards, it was discovered that we have two students in the school who never missed one full day of school. Nora Ryan, formerly in kindergarten and Ryan Crowley, formerly in Grade 3 both deserve a huge shout out. They were present in the school or virtual every single day for the 2020/2021 school year. Who can beat their record next school year? I would love to see if anyone can beat them. Please open this post to view the compete newsletter.
Friday is our last day together for grades one though seven. It is a dress up day for the young people. Dismissal will be at 11:15. Briefly I will share we made it and we finished strong. Your children were able to be with their teacher every single day mostly face to face but virtual if it was needed. Very few schools are able to say that anywhere in the Detroit area. The majority of the children tested well in the adoption of the Standardized STAR platform the Archdiocese of Detroit adopted. We have so many things to celebrate from this school year. You are all a part of the reason for our successes. Thank you for all of your support. We now look forward to a much more normal school year for 2021/2022.
