Last Thursday we held our annual Turkey Trot fundraiser on a beautiful fall day. I’d like thank Jean Stanley-Irving for leading and organizing the events of the day as well as Caerise Williams, the PTO president, and all the PTO moms and dads who volunteered their time both at the start and finish of the race, as well as being “cheerleaders” along the racecourse. It takes an enormous amount of collective work to put together such an event. I’d also like to thank Jody Corbett for her wisdom and experience with the family fundraising.
